New religion of liberals

Lately, the proponents and supporters of Liberalisme have been busy trying to reform the public mind. Yes, they are Muslims but they are accusing the traditional Islamic mindset among the Muslims now as being irrelevant. 

 

Actually, they are trying to introduce a new religion or a new ideology that regards intellect and lust as God. It is true they do not call their intellect and lust as God, but their beliefs and their actions say otherwise and clearly prove they are not referring to the holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad’s Sunnah in all their thinking and actions.

Following are examples of their thinking and actions, 

“I have my own version of Islam”

“Who created God?”

“The call for prayers or azan should not be allowed within close quarters of the housing area, it should be made further away”

“The fact that those who are not satisfied with people who eat in public during fasting are actually the ones who are not fasting- (word of maryam who is not fasting)”

“There is no evidence 100 lashes are effective”

“The clergies are deemed to be the pastors, Prophet Muhammad pbuh should not be venerated, and hair is not considered the aurat”

They are trying to replace Islam and Islamic law with a new religious framework and law. 

 

They refused muftis, scholars and religious teachers. They also reject the methodology used by Muslim scientists many years ago even though these are the scientists acknowledged by Prophet Muhammad pbuh to be generations of good faith in Allah (salafussoleh). They picked up people who are not qualified as scholars even though they have no credibility. 

They even dared to issue laws and rulings which can confuse the public. In addition, they apply some verses from the Quran and Hadith as a cosmetic to rationalise their  actions. 

 

This new religion which they are attempting to bring forth is extremely dangerous and can threaten the faiths, beliefs and practices of Muslims and can also damage the minds of the young. Especially during these challenging times when the young are more prone to have fun rather than adhering well to Islamic principles and practices. 

Their goal is to create a generation of secular Muslims who thinks of Islam as a mere ritual of personal worship instead of a holistic system encompassing all aspects of life. 

In fact, their goal is to inhibit the faith of the young and future generation of Muslims so that they will succumb to pluralisme which is to compare the supremacy of Allah as similar to other gods. So that the future generations wil not have any feelings of jealousy or nobility in oder to safeguard their sacred religion Islam. Consequently, they will accept all religion as similar. 

 

“…This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion…”

( Quran Al Maidah 5:3)

“And the word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can alter His words, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.”

(Quran Al Anaam 6:115)

“It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.”

(Quran Al Ahzaab 33:36)

Say, [O Muhammad], “Shall we [believers] inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds? (They are) those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work.”

(Quran Al Kahfi 18:103-104)

  

Narrated Sahl bin Sa’d:

I heard the Prophet saying, “I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount (Kauthar), and whoever will come to it, will drink from it, and whoever will drink from it, will never become thirsty after that. There will come to me some people whom I know and they know me, and then a barrier will be set up between me and them.” Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri added that the Prophet further said: “I will say those people are from me. It will be said, ‘You do not know what changes and new things they did after you.’ Then I will say, ‘Far removed (from mercy), far removed (from mercy), those who changed (the religion) after me!”

 

It is clear from the above Quranic verses and Hadith of Prophet Muhammad pbuh that Islam is the perfect and complete religion and the revelation that Allah sends to Prophet Muhammad pbuh during his last pilgrimage with this verse 3 from Surah Al Maaidah which is also the last revelation sent requiring Muslims to submit to Allah. All previous laws are therefore void and there will be no new religion after the last revelation sent down to Prophet Muhammad pbuh. Also, Prophet Muhammad pbuh is the last prophet and there will be no more future revelations and prophets.

Therefore, be mindful and sensitive to the new religion brought about by these misguided liberal Muslims for the sake of the future and generations to come. 

 

In conclusion, do educate and inculcate the true teachings of Islam, in order to prepare and strengthen our Muslim women who play an important role in shaping our future generation to be good Muslims with strong faith, good morals, true Islamic practices and be good leaders later.
